To support global sites in developing, maintaining, and improving their mentoring programs, I designed and helped develop The Clubhouse Network Mentoring Toolkit: A Resource to Support Clubhouse Mentoring.
Beginning in 2015 with funding from the U.S. Department of Justice, The Clubhouse Network began to focus specifically on mentor recruitment, training, and retention. “Sparking” ideas and inspiration for mentors was a need articulated by Clubhouse sites. With that in mind, I helped develop an oversized deck of cards with project ideas, called Spark Cards. The projects on these cards come from the global Clubhouse Network, and are used worldwide by mentors, members, and staff who need inspiration.
Produced 63-page toolkit from conception to completion.
Utilized a reader-friendly layout to encourage staff usage as a day-to-day reference.
Solicited input from staff around the world with the goal of creating the most useful resources possible.
